Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The critically acclaimed production is the most awarded new play in theatre history, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has won 24 major theatre awards in the UK and is the most awarded play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play. The production has also won 25 major US awards with six Tony Awards including Best Play. It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places. It’s time to believe in magic again at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the Guinness World Record holder for the most awarded play in history.

Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play by Jack Thorne. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present dangerously collide, a new darkness rises; which can only be overcome if they can reconcile their differences and stand together.

How does it work?

How does it work when I book?
Please note that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play in two parts. When you book your tickets, you automatically book for both parts: You just choose the ticket for Part One and our system will automatically allocate you a ticket (with the same seat) for Part Two.

How do I know when the two parts play?
It depends on your choice:
- If you book for a Wednesday, you see Part One at 2:00 P.M. and Part Two the same day at 7:00 P.M.
- If you book for a Friday, you see Part One at 2:00 P.M. and Part Two the same day at 7:00 P.M.
- If you book for a Saturday, you see Part One at 2:00 P.M. and Part Two the same day at 7:00 P.M.
- If you book for a Sunday, you see Part One at 1:00 P.M. and Part Two the same day at 6:00 P.M.

How long does the play last?
The duration for Part One is 2 hours and 45 minutes. For Part Two it's 2 hours and 35 minutes.
