Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor is a fast-paced comedy full of wit, trickery, and unforgettable characters.
The notorious Sir John Falstaff hatches a scheme to seduce two wealthy, married women to gain access to their fortunes. But these clever wives are one step ahead, turning the tables on Falstaff with hilarious consequences.
Believed to have been written at the request of Queen Elizabeth I—who adored Falstaff—this lively tale of love, deception, and revenge has been entertaining audiences for over 400 years.
